Merit Theater and Film Group (Producer) is a Theater and Film non-profit organization that helps theatrical and film artists develop their craft and present their work through developmental activities, readings, and/or full productions. Since 2003, we have been providing workshops, readings, productions, internships, and script evaluations to theatre artists in all areas of theatre. We foster and cultivate personal growth for script writers and other theatre and film artists, which we believe is essential for writing and producing complex, knowledgeable scripts. Such works benefit the local and global community by enhancing self-realization, supporting peace and social justice, and building respect for cultural

13thStreet Repertory Co. (Producer) was established by Edith O'Hara in 1972, TSRC has always been a magical place where artists have the freedom to hone their theatrical craft. Dedicated to helping playwrights develop new plays and to helping theatre artists develop their craft
in a caring, professional environment, anywhere from five to seven shows run weekly. TSRC is one of the few remaining safe havens where artists can exercise their creative attributes and spread their wings…and many thousands have.TSRC has provided free cultural and artistic performances to over 85,000 people in the community who would not otherwise be able to attend a theatrical event. For nearly 20 years, TSRC has hosted a children’s after school acting program, headed by Wendy Tonken, enriching the lives of thousands of NYC children. Over the past 10 years, the New Works Reading Series has produced over 175 readings of new works. In the past 10 years over 450 interns received training from Producing Artistic Director, Sandra Nordgren, in acting, directing, stage and house management, playwriting, script evaluation, lights, sound, and producing. TSRC is also home to the longest running play in NYC, LINE, by Israel Horovitz, now in its 38th year at the theatre.

Colby is entering her senior year at NYU. She has studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and Playwrights Horizons Theater School, where she’ll be directing a play in the fall. Thanks to Mom and Pop for turning the dreams of a small town Alaskan girl into reality. “Grateful” doesn’t begin to describe it.
Ashley Foy (Stage Manager - 2nd run in 2012)
Ashley recently moved to New York from Macon, Georgia. She is currently interning at TSRC and actng in our newest production of Wiseacre
Farm. Ashley is also starting a new chapter of No Shame Theatre at TSRC.
